Vtech Little Smart First Words Plus Baby Toddler Toy. This Vtech toy is a plastic interactive toy (measuring about 8.5 wide by 10 inches high) with nine buttons on it. There is a handle on the top so that children can easily carry it around. The buttons are shaped like familiar characters in a child's life: grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, baby, dog, moon, ball and bird. The buttons are about half of an inch wide and and inch high, and are colorful without being too bright, since they are basically decorated with the primary colors, along with browns and grey for hair, fur and skin colors. There are also six yellow plastic stars with red light bulbs in them that light up at certain times.

There are two modes of play with the Little Smart First Words Plus. By sliding the switch to the picture of the baby's face, and then pressing one of the nine buttons, the toy will tell you what you pressed. For example, press the dog and it will say "dog", press the grandma and it will say "grandma". As it says the word, the stars light up in a random pattern.

By sliding the switch to the musical note, and pressing one of the people buttons, you will hear the music from popular children's songs such as "Hush Little Baby" and "London Bridge." Pressing the dog will render a barking sound, the bird, a tweeting sound, the ball, a "boing" sound, and the moon says "Peek A Boo. Requires 2AA batteries
