Vtech Talking Little Smart Alphabet Desk

GREAT learning device!
This is a fabulous toy made by Vtech which helps all kids with letter, number and shape recognition. It takes 4 AA batteries (not included). As you can see from the photo, the alphabet is displayed in blue, the numbers from 1 to 10 are in red and the shapes are in green. Above each letter is a word and picture of an object that begins with the letter. The toy also features an automatic shut-off

There are 6 different settings on the Little Alphabet Desk:

Name setting – press a button and you will be told the name of the letter, number or shape

Question setting – you will be asked where a particular letter or number is, and the child will need to locate and then press that letter. When located correctly it will say “this is the number 3”, for example.

Fun setting - press a button and then a funny sound will be made and you will be given the name of the picture relating to that button.

Quiz setting - This one tests what letter or number comes after something.

Spelling setting 1 – This will ask where is an object, and then when the correct button is pressed, the name will be said again and then spelt for you.

Spelling setting 2 – This tests what letter each word starts with. You will be asked the question “what letter does the word ….. begin with?”.

There is a repeat button, so if you didn’t get the question the first time, you can hear it again.
